Another take on my fursona Angelion with more of a Devil May Cry twist.
Essentially Angelion can pretty much do anything that Dante can do and more, except he's Angelic! XD
I made this decision way before I played DMC3, so I was very happy with what Dante could do in that game!

Short Bio:
Angelion at the beginning is a mortal blessed with Angelic powers through a back plot with his parents.
Through a comic book story (possible future project) that involves:
and to name a few, Angelion was given the ability to draw power from the source, a great clestial being that keeps balance in the universe, but at a great personal cost.
He is now an agent of the source; bringing back balance, which the demons have damaged while working for the Seraphim Agency. Though he is given great power, he still does not know his full potential or what fate has in store for him.

Demon Hunting:
After the story mentioned above, Angelion becomes a devil hunter working for the Seraphim Agency. An agency that specializes in the affairs of the paranormal.
Angelion does have his fun fighting demons, but after the events of the previous story; he made it his goal to eliminate every hell-spawn on earth. Every encounter is a personal one and driven by the order of the source.

Early on in the previous story when Angelion was ever in serious trouble the “source” would act through him in an “Angelic Rage”. Now he is able to it by will and is sometimes unaware oh his other abilities until they kick in unexpected.
The source is intent on using Angelion as a tool to correct the imbalance, even if it means using him for all eternity.

Weapons:
Angelion is equipped with an unnamed sword (hilt only pictured) and two guns named "Ecstasy and Humility". Though through the agency; he does get an assortment of weapons to dispatch demons with. I love doing gun and close range weapon designs, so expect some more weapons for Angelion soon. Btw The sword is done in 3D as well as his zip liner.

Damage:
Angelion can take hits like the best of them. When he was still mortal he could get fatally injured, but after his encounter with the source his vulnerability is unknown. He seems to take hits with pain but its unknown how much damage is caused to his “life bar”. Again think about Dante from DMC 3 (i.e. not loosing limbs and being able to take a bullet to the head and shrugging it off.)

I’m actually trying hard not to make Angelion too powerful, but by making his full potential unknown even to himself means he wont go doing Final Fantasy end bosses moves (yet). So for now he fights on the lines of Dante from DMC3, but there is oh so more to it than that. Stay Tuned.

The Design:
I wanted to do the design of everything in a DMC fashion but I kept Angelion’s two basic colors: black and white.
Angelion still wears a black tank top and pants, but I decided to make the tank top just a bit more interesting by adding seams at the sides.

The coat I wanted to keep simple for now, I figured if I did another Angelion pic, I would probably expand on it later. Largest influence comes from Dante’s coat but from Squall’s design from Kingdom Hearts as well.

The logo on his shirt is a pic I had on my comp for ages, I just tested to see what it would like on the shirt and was very pleased with it, so I kept it.

The gloves/gauntlets I added because his arms looked bare and I couldn’t think of anything else that was interesting.

I actually wanted to ad more details, but I was afraid of making it too busy and a lot of the details won’t be noticed in the final pic. My experience with designing clothing is still limited.

I actually wanted to make Angelion’s hair longer, but I kept it at neck length to show the details of collar. Usually his hair gets to his shoulders. He’s a pretty boy you know.

I’m still messing around with his design, but I’m sure you guys are getting the idea.

The background was a quick mishmash of European architecture. I was really unsure with what I was going to do with the background, but after doing a test with this I stuck with it. I really wanted my backgrounds to be more interesting than just being white with the usual name bar across.

This wasn’t a planned pic, it just sorta happened and I went with it. I hardly draw (if ever) any of my own characters so I owed it to myself to do another drawing of my fursona.

I’m not 100% satisfied, but I’m happy how it came out.
